Just updated my Window FX through Stardock Central. Going to play with it now.

Some new features.....

Windows XP or later is required.

Major new features:
-Added support for use with WindowBlinds 5 per-pixel skins. You
need the latest WB5 beta build for that to work (5.00b or later).
-Added "swipe" animation (expect others like that)
-Added Expand/Reduce to desktop animations and transitions.
-Added taskbar thumbnails.
-Added previews to task switching
-Added previews for animations/drags/transitions (the
transitions preview window is supposed to be disconnected
from the main window, that's not a bug).
-Added improved support for window dragging animations
on dual-monitor systems (note: semi-trans window dragging
doesn't work with per-pixel skins)
-Shadows are disabled when used with a per-pixel skin (no point)
-Simplified (we hope) the UI
-Performance optimizations
-Right-mouse button and middle-mouse button clicks to tile
a window will not work with WB5 per-pixel skins.
-Most dedicated video cards from 2004 or later should be fine
with the various features. Integrated gpu chipsets? ...
If you already knew this ...disregard and shame on you for not letting the rest of us know

One glitch I've seen.

Opening a Windows, then opening the startpanel. The desktop area where both overlap is buggy. It seems, it still wants to plot the contour of the window even if the window is supposed to be behind the start menu.

hum, it seems to be skin dependant. It happens with Aura, not with Arrow.

BUGS:

1/ explorer.exe crashed when I pressed ALT+TAB for the new task switching while Incredimail was in the foreground. I suppose it should crash just the same with other programs which use different UI's than WindowsXP's.
2/ I use Styler Toolbar and first time I run "My Computer" after a reboot, it looks real messy. I close it and then "My Computer" looks just fine. I use the "slide windows in and out from the top" animation and Jemaho's Vista 5270 1.4 WB.
3/ Taskbar previews take some time to appear every now and then and may be on the wrong Z-Level.

Other than that y'all did an awesome job!

I may have raised a false alarm-- didn't have any updates available yesterday & I just got these today. Bichur pointed out to me that they were dated 2/10/06-- so maybe he likes you better...

I was referring to
WFX 2.89[b].003
WB 5.00b[b].002

A little self-flagellation may be in order here...

ANOTHER BUG: As regards WindowFX's window transitions, if you got WMP toolbar enabled in the taskbar (right click somewhere on the taskbar --> "Toolbars" --> "Windows Media Player" ticked) it appears WMP won't get back up after having been minimized - until you disable the taskbar toolbar option for WMP.
